Acupuncturist in Riverside and Trumbull. CT.
For over five years, I have been the acupuncturist at the Integrative Medicine Dept of YALE New Haven Health oncology unit in Trumbull. I have a Masters of Science from Tristate College of Acupuncture. I currently treat patients in Greenwich and Fairfield, CT. I have studied a variety of styles of acupuncture and currently use several of them. This list is on going as acupuncture is lifelong learning and I continue to take more classes. I have studied Master Tung's style with Gregor Bertram, Japanese Acupuncture with Keiko Matsumoto, and Sports Medicine with Chad Bong. I also studied trigger point and scalp acupuncture with Diane Rooney.
I use protocols from all these styles depending on what I am treating but my main focus is Tungs Points. I also like to use a lot of cupping and moxa as well as prescribe herbs, and work a lot with E-stim as well. I am also a Reiki Master in the Usui Lineage.

YALE NEW HAVEN HEALTH Location
INTEGRATIVE MEDICINE DEPT
I have been treating the side effects of clients under treatment for cancer for five years. It is very reliable. I have recently completed a pilot study with oncologists testing the effect of acupuncture on the side effects of aromatase inhibitors and the results are great.
FaCIal Acupuncture
Facial acupuncture really works. It is a toxin free, natural way to lift the face and smooth wrinkles. There are many other ancillary benefits!
Sports Medicine Acupuncture
I love working with joint and muscle issues. I draw upon a lot of styles to treat these issues. If you have questions about what is possible with sports medicine acupuncture, please get in touch.
CUPPING
CUPPING is as old as Acupuncture and is an essential part of Chinese Medicine. Popularized by Michael Phelps in the last Olympics when he displayed the distinctive cupping mark during his gold winning races, cupping has quickly become very popular.
PAIN MANAGEMENT
For managing pain prescribing drugs remains the primary treatment for most. Long term pain meds however bring a host of other problems and side effects. Acupuncture offers a drug free treatment that gets at the root cause of the pain.
GI ISSUES
Digestion is the foundation of our well being, yet GI issues are the most common complaints after pain. Reflux is the most common of these, for which acupuncture and herbs remain the most effective to treat the root issue.
STRESS and anxiety
For many stress and anxiety are major blocks to well being yet they are so misunderstood. Read on for my description on how it affects us and what we acupuncture can do for it.
